30-Day Return Window
We accept returns on most items within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation included.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, email us at support@outpostgears.com with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship items back without first receiving written confirmation and a return authorization from our team. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Oversize and Freight Items
Certain large items — including kayaks, large canvas tents, and other freight-shipped products — may be subject to vendor-specific return terms from our suppliers (Vibe Kayaks, White Duck Outdoors, and Jupiter Gear). These items may have restocking fees or limited return eligibility due to their size and shipping complexity. Please contact us at support@outpostgears.com before returning any oversize item so we can confirm the applicable terms.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items that have been used, assembled, or show signs of wear
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items without original packaging or missing components
- Clearance or final-sale items (marked at time of purchase)
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrived damaged or defective, email us at support@outpostgears.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
